About Equip Solutions Group

An independent sales representative for StarMix, and a sourcing desk for equipment and parts the catalog does not cover.

The person on the other end

Equip Solutions Group is built around a simple arrangement: you get a direct line to someone who knows the equipment, has a stake in the outcome, and will still take your call two years after the invoice cleared.

Representing manufacturers means learning their products in far more detail than a catalog shows — which models are worth the upcharge, where the lead times really sit, and which spec decisions people regret. Working independently means being able to say all of that out loud.

The work splits two ways: StarMix plants, and a sourcing desk for used equipment and hard-to-find parts. The common thread is a machine that has to be earning instead of parked.

How I work

Four commitments, and what they cost me if I break them

These are not values on a wall. They are the reasons people call back.

01

Fit before sale

If a smaller unit, a different model or a used machine serves you better, that is the recommendation. A wrong sale costs more in referrals than it makes in commission.

02

Real numbers

Lead times and freight as they actually are, not as they would sound best. When something slips upstream, you hear it from me before you notice it yourself.

03

One thread

Quote, order, build, delivery, first parts call — same person, same phone number. Nothing gets handed off to a queue.

04

Answer the phone

Including after the sale, including on a part worth forty dollars, including when the answer is that I cannot help and here is who can.

Sourcing

Used equipment, surplus units and hard-to-find parts, found through the dealer and supplier network rather than a catalog.

How it works

Straight answer

What independent means here

  • I represent the manufacturers, I do not build the equipment. Warranty, engineering and production sit with the factory. My job is spec, quote, order and support.
  • I am paid on what I sell. Which is exactly why a wrong-fit sale is bad business — the referral is worth more than the ticket.
  • Not every request fits a line I carry. When that happens I either source it independently or point you to whoever can actually help.

Start with a phone call

Fifteen minutes about your application usually gets further than a week of back-and-forth email.
